CONTRAPUNCTUS IV by J. S. Bach is taken from The Art of The Fugue. This set of compositions is the final contribution of Bach, a complete example of the contrapuntal and fugal technique. The piccolo part is optional but adds to the overall effectiveness of the piece. When doubling parts, start with the third flute, then the second flute parts. Tempo could be between q =100 up to q =126.
Accurate and even eighth notes are required for a successful performance.
The performing group is the Wings Of The Wind Flute Choir from Indianapolis, Indiana.
