Amazing Grace, is arranged for bagpipes and band. This chorale type of setting may be used in a marching band setting or as a concert band feature. Composed by John Newton, sometime between 1760 and 1770, Amazing Grace began to be performed by bagpipes around 1960.
There is an optional solo trumpet part provided. This can be used as a rehearsal assist or as a trumpet feature without bagpipes. Other soloist could be used such as soprano saxophone.
